I used to chase peace through a needle like salvation came in the form of a syringe. 2009—that’s when I started falling. Heroin whispered lullabies and disguised itself as love. It rocked me to sleep while my dreams bled out into motel rooms and my mother’s prayers hit the ceiling. Then came cocaine. By 2019, I was dancing with demons on devil time, chasing a high I could never hold while losing a soul I didn’t believe was worth saving. Friends became funerals. Laughter became lies. I became someone I couldn’t recognize. Then came meth. By 2022, I stopped chasing the dragon and became it—breathing fire on anyone who dared to get close and burning bridges with hands already scorched by my past. I was a runaway train fueled by pain, headed toward the edge with no brakes and no reason to believe I would ever rise again. But God. He took the chapters I thought were ruined and started writing redemption into them. In 2025, everything began to change. Today, I’m no longer a slave to the needle. I used to inject poison into my veins trying to escape life. Now I inject truth into the world hoping someone else chooses to stay. I’m high on healing. Addicted to purpose. Sober in body. Consumed by my calling. Because I learned that pain isn’t always the period. Sometimes it’s the prelude. It isn’t always the grave. Sometimes it’s the garden. And what was once buried beneath shame can bloom into boldness. I injected heroin. I injected cocaine. I injected meth. But God poured purpose, grace, love, and freedom back into me. So I refuse to walk in shame. I walk in testimony. I am not what I did. I am not what I used. I am not the worst chapter I ever wrote. I am proof that the pit isn’t permanent. Your scars don’t have to disqualify you. They can commission you. The place where you once bled might become the exact place somebody else finds hope. I spent years putting poison into my veins because I wanted to escape my life. Today, I put truth into the world because I finally understand why I survived it. One step. One day. One heartbeat. One testimony at a time. Silence never saved anybody. #RadicalMovement #RecoveryIsPossible #JesusSaves
