The ‘dark side of the Moon’ isn’t permanently dark. It’s called the far side because we normally can’t see it from Earth. It gets sunlight just like the near side does. This photo was taken by DSCOVR from about a million miles away, between Earth and the Sun. The camera was looking back toward the sunlit Earth, and the far side of the Moon was facing the Sun too, so naturally it was illuminated. NASA even publishes the camera details: it’s a CCD telescope combining red, green and blue exposures. You’re basically calling a photograph fake because you misunderstood what ‘dark side’ means.

Also how does the other side of the Earth see the Moon during the daytime? The globe can’t see through itself. I’ve personally seen the Sun and Moon in the sky at the same time, even at 1 in the afternoon. I’m just saying.
