Lexapro did save my life. But the downside is that it will make u a houseplant and unmotivated.. I’ll take the trade off because I’m so much more patient with my children. Is feel I’m more attune with them.’I make myself be motivated to do things with them and be 100% there. So if ur willing to push thru the unmotivated part, life feels so much better.

This was actually the exact experience I’ve had on lexapro. I started it 3 years ago and it was amazing. But then things slowed and we upped my dose. Now I’ve gotten to the point I don’t want to take it anymore so I’ve started the withdrawal process and it’s super hard.
