Many Christians ignore this: These three types of clothing can open a door to the devil. Today, I have to remind you of something important: there are three types of clothing that Christians really should not be wearing. Otherwise, you may be opening a door to the devil without even realizing it. First: clothing that intentionally exposes your body and draws attention. Very low necklines. Very short skirts. See-through clothing. These kinds of clothes lead people’s eyes straight to your body. When someone uses their body to stir up lust in others, that body no longer looks like the temple of the Holy Ghost. It becomes a tool the powers of darkness can use. The Bible says: “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you?” 1 Corinthians 6:19 KJV If your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, it cannot also be a billboard for fleshly desire. Second: clothes that are too tight and clearly draw attention. In church, brothers and sisters should be focused on worshiping God. But some pants, skirts, and dresses are so tight that they easily draw people’s eyes. Some sisters think they are just showing their figure, or simply keeping up with fashion. But they may not realize that this kind of clothing can lead others into temptation and keep themselves under lustful eyes. Proverbs speaks of “the attire of an harlot,” showing that certain clothing can suggest a certain way of life and spiritual condition. Third: clothing with impure images or symbols. Some T-shirts have skulls, occult symbols, sexual words, or images with pornographic suggestions. The world calls it “style.” But spiritually, it may show which side you are standing on. Are you standing with the world and darkness, or are you standing with Christ? We are not billboards for the trends of this world. We are ambassadors for Christ. We are children of the King. Dear friend, do you understand now? Dressing is not just about following religious rules. It is about choosing clothing that matches your identity as a Christian. It can glorify the name of God, and it can also become a form of spiritual protection. Our bodies belong only to the Lord. Not to fleshly desire. Not to this world.
