The swing flick is really useful with the Boarding Axe's pointed side. Also the jump and swing gives you a headshot, hence why they die immediately.

another tip (idk if i seen anyone do this): use crowd control guns (such as the blunderbuss) for tight spaces to kill as much more zombies
