I fell deeply in love with a dismissive avoidant unfortunately, the lies and deception destroyed our relationship. They could lay next to me for weeks at a time and not try to be intimate, but the minute they were alone, they would watch porn and take care of themselves. They didn’t understand why that bothered me and hurt my feelings so deeply, but they literally don’t know how to have human connection. I’m not OK with the porn addiction and it is very bad. I had to end the relationship because of the lies and all the trauma they were putting me through it was very hard for me to let go because I do love them so very much, but I have to love me more.

Emotional vulnerability can’t be THAT ABSENT from people’s lives. That’s so hard to believe. Everyone has emotions. Why can’t they be vulnerable with their emotions?
