Their fear mongering and propaganda spread online was originally meant to rally them for civil war against black South Africans. At the time, Russia's war had not began, so they believed that as soon as the war starts, US would come in and win it for them. The war happened, a lot changed, US wasn't in much of a position to wage war on South Africa, so it called them in to be refugees - something they didn't really want. Only few who wished for the American dream packed up and left, only to find that local SA challenges are worse in USA. Instead of apologising for their attempted coup, they now want to bite off a chunk of the country and declare independence 😑
