Im the complete opposite i have no problem while im speaking with my cousin who is native english speaker but the second i have to talk to someone from my country in english (for a project or just to practice) all my knowledge disappear

One time I was at a nail salon getting my nails done, and there was this lovely lady next to me who was from Australia she wanted only a manicure without any nail polish or anything. But the nail techs didn’t speak any English so they asked if I could and I said yes so they asked me to translate. At first everything was fine, then I panicked and started speaking German with the Australian lady and English with the nail tech. And I kept doing it until the lady told me. Thankfully she was super chill and we laughed, but I was so freaking embarrassed
