This is where I fucked up. I should have left. Put in leave to see my grandpa on his deathbed. My cc and snco procrastinated on my shit. Asked for all relevant paperwork. The day they finally approved it is the same day he died. The Marine Corps got the worst of me after that.

My unit denied my terminal leave like that was some sort of punishment but they had to pay it out so I got a fat check when I left

When I was in I was denied leave for a mandatory religious event that I was supposed to go to because battalion Commander wanted me at a particular training program even though my senior NCO said that I was not needed my first sergeant said I wasn't needed my XO said I wasn't needed my company Commander said I wasn't needed and the Battalion XO said I wasn't needed at. I then sat there at this field problem and it absolutely nothing because I wasn't needed and the battalion Commander gave me a coin
