What irritates me about this interview is how it only focuses on the eruo centric and western idea of things. Like when Michael said “the Bible is the story of people becoming conscious” when the Egyptians existed long before the Bible and anything that supposedly happened in it, as well as China and other eastern worlds that were around thousands of years before any of these things were written. I understand Michael using his world view and experience to make a point, but as an educator and especially a science educator it’s odd to not even bring up anything other than that. I also understand that given the context of the conversation, Michael may not have thought it an important point and that’s fine, it’s just something that always irritates me personally.

I wonder if dreams have evolved with how easily accessible information is. The more we know about the world and the more locations we see in books, TV, internet, etc makes dreams more complex
