Open Claude or ChatGPT and paste this: "Act as my affiliate marketing strategist. I'm over 50 and want to build an online business recommending products and services that already exist. Interview me ONE question at a time about my work experience, skills, interests, available time, budget and income goals. Then suggest 3 affiliate niches that fit my experience and have evidence of customer demand. For each, show me what I could promote, who would buy it, where to find those people and what kind of content I could create. Help me compare the options and choose ONE to test first. Then build me a simple 90-day plan focused on finding customers and working toward my first commission. Don't overwhelm me. Give me ONE step at a time and wait for my answer." That's basically how affiliate marketing works. You find products people already need, create content that helps them make a decision and earn a commission when someone buys through your link. And here's why I like the model. You don't necessarily need hundreds of sales a day. A $500 commission, five $100 commissions or smaller recurring commissions can all contribute to your income.
