I think you can have a glass of wine without being an absolute mess. My children are just fine seeing me drink one singular glass of wine. Not everyone is out of control after 1 drink.

It was so bizarre to me when my daughter’s soccer coach actually encouraged parents to bring alcohol to the tournaments and that he would have to partake after. Like, what?? Not cool at all.

Why don’t you take your own advice and let the adults do what they want 🤷🏻♀️I’m a drinker and get what you’re saying but if someone wants a beer or glass of wine while walking around trick or treating why do you care?!!

On Halloween my neighborhood actually hands out mini bottles of alcohol for the parents, we drank it. My kids are 16 and 20 and have turned out just fine. No “trauma”, no therapy…just happy healthy thriving young adults. Let parents do as they choose.

It’s not a big deal to have a drink and walk your kids around the neighborhood. I’m 8 years sober and I support responsible drinking.
