Here in SC, our governor made it illegal for SLED (SC law enforcement division- essentially our state police) to charge for our permits. Also made mandatory for the classes to be offered at no charge. THEN in march 2024, we switched to Constitutional Carry do the permit is no longer required in the first place. We moved to SC from NJ about 5 years ago. Never looking back.
