Ive been travelling to Bali every year sometimes twice a year for 15+ years.. and never had an issue with Bali belly until a trip a year ago and the experience was horrific, was soo sick it was ridiculous. I can't do the math on how it works. Wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I literally did every "right" I took Probiotics, had travelan, washed my hands a million times a day, used sanitiser wipes only ate from "nice places", used bottled water to brush my teeth and BAM day 8 took me out 😭

just did another 16 days, still never had it. I take biodegradable antiseptic wipes and wipe my hands a bit. don't brush with tap. that's all.
