Interesting. I had to call King County SS last month and had to be on hold about 7 minutes and then got my questions answered and an appointment scheduled which was for 4 days later. I did bot have this experience at all.

it took nearly two months for them to approve my husband's SS claim when they said it would be 2-4 weeks. We have to drive 2 hours to the closest SS office now.

If you have issues it clearly is not always easy and very time consuming. I consider myself lucky that I was able to file online and all my history and information was accurate so I never had to actually talk to anyone.
