gurl the only thing I havw seen through this extremism of "women men should NEVER interact" has just resulted in EXTREME hypersexual society. cz now that "talking" is taboo, making the other gender a taboo thing only good when in a marriage, it just reduces the respect amd genuine ability to see the human in the other. like now a "woman and a man" is just a taboo concept n not actually humans

Dated my husband on the low both our families didn’t know for a loooong time just our friends. All my conservative friends judged me. He and I have been married for years now and those specific judgmental friends are divorced. Not saying my way is right but there’s definitely truth to what you’re saying.

in most communities where they actually do enforce this rule the families know EVERYTHING about each other and as much as possible. thankfully my parents aren’t as strict about this but for our family friends they ask everyone that the potential husband is associated with (friends, family, distant relatives even, etc) about him, have many discussions, etc. that’s not to say this is a foolproof method but divorce happens way more in the west where they do have the freedom to date, spouses switch up after marriage in every culture
