The underwater transportation system in this area is divided into two main lines: Dushu Lake Tunnel 1: 1. Description: This was the first and longest combined urban bridge and underwater tunnel project in mainland China at the time of its construction. 2. Specifications: It has a total length of 7.37 kilometers with a width of six lanes. The project cost approximately 2.4 billion yuan. 3. History: Construction began in May 2006 and officially opened to traffic in October 2007. 4. Function: Connects the East-South Ring Road interchange with Xinghu Road in the Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP). Dushu Lake Second Tunnel: 1.
