Are the books on/implementing Nietzsche written by Heidegger solid reads? I plan on reading the 4 volumes but if someone has read them and think they are good it might make em less daunting.

I just sat down, recorded this in two minutes, and posted it. I’d like to expand on it a bit. The history of women and POC in philosophy has been a history of deep oppression. Many of these philosophers made major, original contributions to philosophy: Lorde, Beauvoir, Davis, West, Addams, etc. Yet many of their contributions have been overlooked simply because of their race, gender, or sexuality. Their contributions to other philosophers have also been diminished by failing to acknowledge them in footnotes or in the body of the work itself. So, again, these great philosophers have not failed to gain popularity because they weren’t great philosophers. Their lack of recognition has also been shaped by the social systems and institutions surrounding philosophy, which have historically made it much harder for women and POC to gain access, exposure, and recognition.
