Yesss!!! This!!! Not even mad at Brooks - just at the bigger picture. Big companies that can afford to make a difference but choose to under pay or even ask for things for free is unacceptable in this economy

As an artist that’s been hired by Brooks many times, this situation makes me so sad. I have never been treated or paid more fairly than in my work with Brooks. I just can’t believe this unfortunate situation happened because it is SO unlike them 💔

I’m in the floral industry and “exposure” is an all too common ploy for influencers, celebrities and corporations. It’s something we have to navigate carefully even when we say no so they don’t turn around and badmouth you to others. It’s just another example of power imbalances in our society and how those in power use that power to their own ends.
