This is absolutely disgusting. This poor girl suffered beyond belief at the hands of her biological father and took her own life because of it & He basically got away with it! They only gave him 1 yr in prison, how sick!! There was no justice served here.

Justice in new zealand is the same for s.a against a child/ minor 5 years. for drugs you can get a life sentence, but s.a against a minor is 5 frikken years. we have a petition going around our country for anyone to sign to have this changed to instant deportation with life time ban from re-entering new zealand or life time sentence without appeal.
