If it was about actual learning then the system would teach us about, taxes, loans, donations, how to build a house, how to start a company, etc. I know you could proby learn that in business school, but literally anything else we don’t learn in school.

Hot take: kids shouldn’t have to sit in a building for 7-8 hours 5 days out of the week learning things there just gonna forget about when there older or not need to use the things they learned and the things they do need to know they aren’t gonna know because school doesn’t teach about actual life things life isn’t all about just math,history,science,English, and the health kids learn isn’t all what they need to learn about I say we all be homeschooled instead of being locked up in a building with strict teachers and bullies

it's not even that it's the fact I just don't know anything and I feel so useless everytime I say I don't know it it's always because I don't study hard enough or Im not paying attention I try my best and I even do more than try my best but I literally just can't and it feels like I'm not good at anything and what I am good at or do have a little bit more knowledge in my school literally doesn't even have it I feel so stuck and I don't know what to do and I can't talk to my mom because she's just gonna tell me to ask for help and I feel so damn tired of asking for help knowing its not going to work I'm kinda good at ELA but I suck in math and everyone makes fun of me for it saying I'm going to get robbed out of my money when I'm older I'm just so frustrated and I don't know what to do

the grading system also feels so rigged. you can get 100 on all your assignments but when it comes to the test (aka the most stressful part) it can bring your whole grade down and it’s just so discouraging i hate the whole grading system
