I got a review saying my dress smelled like heavy detergent so they had to wash it in white vinegar several times apparently sending out clean items is bad thing too 😵💫😵💫

After working in retail people will complain about anything. Just continue to keep your products clean and have good customer service. Thats all you can really do some people are just miserable

SOME scents are really strong. My sister has a perfume like that. She put her sweatshirt on my counter and a few days after she left I could still smell her perfume. It was on my counter. Her sweatshirt made my counter smell like her perfume it was wild and gave me a massive headache

I had one marked NWT that came reeking so heavily of BO that my laundry room smelled like burnt onions. I washed it several times, could not get the smell out. I hung it in the garage, and just realized I haven't checked on it in months lol. But you know what my review was? Five stars, comments with fast shipping and beautiful looking dress. Because that's the risk I take on Vinted.

honestly i’ve bought from depop only a handful of times, but i’ve got a sensitive nose and half the time it’s impossible to get the seller’s smell out 😞 it’s not even usually a bad smell, it’s just a Person smell

okay but one time i did receive a top that smelled exactly like bath n body works ‘13. oxi soaked for 2 hours, washed and air dried. could not get that smell out, didn’t bother me tho but 2 weeks later i resold it knowing damn well it still smelled like her perfume lol

Omg I got this hoodie off fb marketplace and it was from a guy and it still smells like him months later. Idk wtf he did to it but I've washed it at least 15 times trying to get the smell out and it won't
