It's cause shorts are a volume game. You NEED to post as OFTEN as you can no matter what. All you need to do is repurpose content that does well on the first go and it'll print views if you post it again. This is a lazy way to do it, but there are better ways in repurposing content. First that comes to mind is how Caleb Hammer reuses his McDonald's McDonald's McDonald's clip

And then you have Instagram and Tiktok alt accounts by the dozen that ALSO repost that same video too. Then the Bot nets that also repost them because they do well. So much of modern social media is just repost and reuploads
