But they are the same bird. The Dems now sound like the Republicans of the early 2000s. I was living at this time. Granted that I was merely a child at the time. It doesn't mean that I don't remember the news and how people in Congress spoke about issues. The Republican Party sounds more and more like neo-fascism. Which is what the Overton Window describes our political parties as presently. As someone who has no degree, but studies frequently about socialism, communism, human rights, and minority communities' struggle. We don't need a reset to the early 2000s. We need to push for a Socialist system that actually cares about the working class, minorities, and demilitarizing the US as a whole.
