I was told the reason why you get blisters is because the tape doesn’t get wet enough to adhere to the compound. And the reason why that happens is because there’s no compound on the front side. So you should actually go over the tape with compound and press it in the same way you did the tape into the compound on the wall.

I hate doing this so much.. Not sure why. Sanding is worse I guess than taping and mudding

you better worry about the clumps thats the powder that aint mixed well and you see that in in your finish and get a crappy none smooth finish that requires more sanding and will fail

If you had to do a v-cut into every single drywall seem it would take 2-3times as long to patch those seems. I only worked in drywall for less than a year but this is a crazy suggestion
