The restaurant is empty as ever. They could’ve let him chill and figure out his payment. He probably hasn’t eaten for a couple of days waiting for his check to come through which normally clears at a certain time but this specific time didn’t come as usual and he’s genuinely not tryna steal which is why he’s literally staying to pay
