Stuffed onions 👩🏻‍🍳🤍Ingredients: 5 large onions 1/2 lb ground beef 1 1/2 cups rice 2 tomatoes, diced 1/2 onion, diced 1/4 cup chopped cilantro 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp pomegranate molasses 2 tbsp tomato paste Juice of 1/2 lemon 1 tsp red pepper flakes 1/2 tbsp paprika 2 tsp cumin 1 tsp bouillon 1 tbsp curry powder 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/2 tsp cardamom Salt and pepper, to taste For the Soup: 2 cups water 2 tbsp tomato paste 1 tsp bouillon Salt and pepper, to taste Optional: Red pepper flakes and pomegranate molasses Instructions: -Boil the onions for about 30 minutes, then remove and let them cool. Cut a slit down each onion without cutting all the way through, then gently separate the layers. -Mix all of the filling ingredients together in a bowl. Add a small amount of filling to each onion layer and roll tightly. -Arrange the stuffed onions closely in a pot with 2 tablespoon of oil. -Mix the soup ingredients together and pour over the onions. Place a heat-safe plate on top to keep the rolls in place. -Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low, cover, and cook for about 45 minutes. #beef #rice #EasyRecipe #lunch #dinner
