It’s because they’re confusing double or nothing with double it up double or nothing means nothing or double the lost double it up means you won now double the bet so if you win you win double the bet plus the previous money you just lost

ABs point isyou can’t make another bet after already losing so you have to honor that first bet and then the next bet is double or nothing. Everyone is explaining completely different ways of gambling that’s why, in the beginning of making a bet. Literally, everything needs to be set in stone.

The losing party is usually the one suggesting the double or nothing. You play the winner for a second time, if they win they get double the original bet. If you win, the get nothing. You dont make money in a double or nothing if you were the original loser, youre simply trying to get rid of debt.
