OH. this is what everyone meant. and then week four hit and my husband went back to work and i have never felt more alone in my entire life?? i was home all day with a baby who couldnt talk to me and then up all night by myself and i just remember thinking like does anyone even know im in here that is actually when i found Beacon and i genuinely think it helped save my sanity a little bit. its an app that shows u other moms who are awake at the same time as you in real time. so at 3am when ur sitting there feeding ur baby and feeling like ur the only person on earth who is awake. ur not. and u can SEE that. and for some reason seeing it made me sob in the best way because i hadnt realized how much i needed to know i wasnt alone in it weeks five and six started to feel like tiny little exhales. like i could breathe just a little bit more than before. the smiles started. the stretches got a teeny bit longer. i started to feel like maybe i was actually figuring it out slowly if ur in the early weeks right now i just want u to know that the reason its so hard is not because ur doing it wrong. its because this is genuinely one of the hardest things a human being can go through and nobody gives u a real honest roadmap for it. so here is mine. ur not alone. i promise 🤍 #mom #MomsofTikTok #momlife #baby #newborn
