@brandoyelavich: I took the receipt we found amongst the dumped rubbish into the bank. I already knew they wouldn’t be able to tell me who owns the account — and rightly so. That information is protected and there are privacy laws for a reason. But they were able to tell me something useful. From the information shown on the receipt, the transaction appears to have come from an international account. It’s another small piece of the puzzle, but it doesn’t give me a name and it certainly doesn’t prove who dumped the rubbish. I could take everything I have to the police and let them pursue it through the proper channels. But I’m not sure I want to do that yet. My goal was never to find someone so they could get smashed with a massive fine or publicity shamed. I want accountability, absolutely — but if there’s another way of getting there, I’d rather explore that first. The thing is, I have a suspect that the community believes is responsible but tying it to them would mean a path with law enforcement being involved and that’s my last resort. I don’t think financial punishment is the right choice for this situation. So this is where the investigation currently sits. police aint gonna do shit. they'll say its a local council issue. i deal with illegal dumpers next to my work in farmland, council basically needs to catch them in the act dumping it, or get video footage of their car coming in with rubbish and leaving without it. cause they wont waste the police or court time without solid evidence of a certain individual dumping it. cause if more than one adult lives at the home, how can you prove who dumped it to fine.

I clean up dumped rubbish for a job and so many people don’t realise how easy it is to track them we had some paint cans dumped and they have the store, the date and the time on them could easily go to the store and get cctv of the person.
