i had seen some canon cameras on clearance at walmart, while thats not the best place to fet them, i *think* it was a canon eos rebel for 300. i have no baseline knowledge of how good of a camera it is. ill try to stop by that one this week and see if they still got it on red tag , maybe it's a decent one and it might be in your area too and in budget for what it can do
