@byramshaa: There was a time when I genuinely couldn’t understand why Allah was allowing certain things to happen in my life. A miscarriage. Financial loss. Extremely stressful pregnancy. Plans falling apart. Doors closing when I thought they were finally opening. And honestly, there were moments when sabr felt less like patience and more like simply surviving the day. But somewhere along the way, I realised that an imtehaan doesn’t always come with an explanation. Sometimes all you can do is hold onto Allah even when you don’t understand His plan. I’m still learning that a delay isn’t necessarily a denial, a closed door isn’t necessarily a rejection, and losing something doesn’t always mean Allah has abandoned you. Some chapters hurt while you’re living them. You only understand their purpose much later. So if you’re going through something right now that you never asked for, I hope you remember this: Allah sees the tears you don’t explain to anyone. He knows the prayers you can’t even put into words. And He knows exactly what your heart can’t see yet. I don’t have a perfect “everything worked out” ending to this story. I’m still rebuilding. Still waiting. Still making dua. But I’m here. And I’m still choosing to trust Allah. 🤍 Maybe that’s what sabr really looks like sometimes, not having all the answers, just refusing to let go of the One who does. “Indeed, Allah is with the patient.” Qur’an 2:153 If you’re in an imtehaan of your own, may Allah make it lighter for you, replace every loss with something better, and give you the kind of peace that makes you understand why you had to wait.
