@reshmaabi1: On our VERY first day of safari, our guide took us to the river and told us, “The river crossing is a game of patience and requires passion.” 🥹🐃 He parked us in what seemed like the most random spot while hundreds of wildebeest just kept walking straight past us… and I genuinely remember thinking, why is our guide not following the wildebeest 😂 THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO TRUST YOUR SAFARI GUIDE. Within 15 minutes, the first wildebeest started crossing, and then it just got bigger and bigger. For almost 40 minutes, we sat there watching thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the river right in front of us. 🥹 We had absolute front-row seats, and the second the crossing started, safari vehicles came rushing over trying to get a good view. Even our guide didn’t expect us to get THAT lucky.
