@meg.beacon: And honestly? It was the happiest birthday I’ve ever had. 🤍 Not because everything was perfect. Not because we did anything particularly exciting. But because I got to wake up and be Mum. There was a little person here who made this birthday feel completely different from every birthday before it. Motherhood has changed so much of what I think happiness looks like. Sometimes it’s the big moments. And sometimes it’s just a little hand reaching for you, a sleepy cuddle, a smile, or looking at your baby and thinking, I get to be your mum.
