@freedme6: Cption Detachment does not mean you stop caring. It means you stop making one person, opportunity, possession, or outcome responsible for your peace. Attachment says: “This has to happen exactly how I pictured it, or I will not be okay.” Surrender says: “I will care, prepare, participate, and do my part. But I will not allow this outcome to replace God or determine my worth.” You can love someone without trying to control them. You can pursue a goal without worshipping the result. You can appreciate what is in your hands without building your entire identity around keeping it. Everything we receive is something we are called to steward. None of it was meant to become the foundation of who we are.
