the 1k you are returning is not your own... so the dept is 98k not 99k, 49k each and 49 +49 +2 100...

the answer is simple .I add my 1000 to my debt that means I paid them 1500 each which is 3000+97000=100000. am owning them 48500 each × by 2= 97000+3000 that I paid them = 100000.💯

@legend48: @legend48: @legend48: The 97000 you bought the bicycle if you divide it into two is equal to 48500+ 48500 equals to 97000 and you give them 1000 each making 49500 each ,after you return 1000 each 49500*49500 making 99000+ the 1000 you hold making 100000

If you combine the 49k wey e remain to pay ur dad and your mum, which is 98k +1k you're holding =99k,e still remain 1k you're owing yourself because you do not have any amount with you before planning to buy Bicycle 🚲
let me make it clear to you, why will you be holding 1k out of the 3k wey e remain when you have no dime while planning to buy the Bicycle 👌
so if you hold 1k and you want to do the calculation,that means that 1k you hold,you're owing yourself and you'll calculate it together with the money you're owing plus the one you're holding which is 49k ur dad,49k ur mum,1k you're owing yourself and 1k you're holding that's 100k👌
I think I try👌

if one one thousand naira has been given to before and their money remains 49,000 each that means there's no need to add the 1000 in my hand again, their money is complete

@Vision_2006 :
the 1000 u are holding should be added to the 97000 u used to buy the bicycle making 98000, then when u add the 1000 that u gave to ur mom and dad it will make 100,000 so u are not oweing any money

The ₦1,000 isn’t missing. The mistake is doing ₦98,000 + ₦1,000 = ₦99,000. You should compare the ₦98,000 debt with what that debt financed: the ₦97,000 bicycle + the ₦1,000 you kept.
