And as someone who is grieving the loss of my family, I cherish every memory, I cherish recounting even little stories about my family with people who knew them or people who didnt.

Girl we are on the same page 👏 what I can’t get past is him saying callen was the “easiest birth” when that was the birth that caused Lindsey to start getting PPD after. So easy for him but not her. The focus is on the wrong person. Thants my opinion.

I reacted to him saying that the doctor’s look suggested a “bad prognosis.” Maybe it’s because I’m Swedish, but the word prognosis feels so clinical and detached in a situation where your child is literally between life and dæth. It almost sounds like something you’d write in a medical report or discuss in a business meeting. I feel like phrases such as “I knew from the look on the doctor’s face that things were really bad” or “there wasn’t much hope” feel much more human and emotionally powerful. They convey the same thing, but without that clinical distance.

not a single loving/warmful word about his children!! "i miss my princess", "i would never cheer for my son play soccer", "i would never see the first steps of my baby Callan." -- it would be normal to "miss things would never do", to talk about their voices, their smell, their smile, THEIR TOUCH. "I miss their hands... looking at their curious hands drawing, learning new things."... "the funny mispronunciation when he/she was learning how to speak" omg!!! any person would have so much to say about their own children!!!!!!

My baby passed at 8 1/2 months. This dec will be 8 years. It was due to a medical reason. I still blame myself... what could I have done?... should I have demanded more testing... etc. I talk to him all the time. I've asked him to look after his older brothers but I've NEVER said help ME.

It should have been: she was kind, funny, loved the colour x, was afraid of y, z was her favourite t.v. Programme, she loved A food, B story, C game. His description is what OTHER ppl saw of her, that’s what he cared about
