It's not willpower. It's chemistry. University of Nevada researchers used the exact dyes from Doritos to make mice transparent — and found the dyes caused increased cellular mutations. A "serving" is 12 chips. Most people eat five times that. At five servings, you've consumed 750 calories, 40g of fat, and over 1,000mg of sodium — nearly half your daily limit. The seasoning contains maltodextrin — a processed starch with a higher glycemic index than table sugar — undisclosed "natural and artificial flavors," and corn from crops that are 92% genetically modified.
