Replying to @flowlikeair So here’s a crazy story for you guys. As some of you who have been following the drama know, I’ve been banned from the Bryant Park market after being bullied by my neighboring booth. After mentioning the names of the ppl responsible I started getting a few comments on how the owner, David Abu Sharkh, who is clearly Arab, must of had a personal vendetta against me because I’m an Israeli jew. In my heart I told myself that’s nonsense and there is no need to bring this ancient battle into everything. Well, I just found out a crazy piece of info. One of my followers on FB mentioned again that it must be a personal thing based of his FB feed. That got me curious. So I tried to search the guy. And turned out he already searched me since he blocked me on all social media channels. So I checked through an old FB business group I managed and found him. And…. This whole confrontation suddenly took a very personal turn… Turns out he is a Palestinian who is very passionate about hating on Israel. To put it simply, his cover photo is a cartoon of a woman slapping an IDF soldier and his feed is full of posts about the Gaza-Israeli conflict, including one post comparing Israel to the Natzies. Honestly, I’m not one to get into the victim role, but suddenly his targeted passionate vendetta against me makes so much more sense… I wanted to take this opportunity to dedicate this video to you David. Your hate will not win. People are a lot more similar than what you might think. Ppl want to be loved and respected. More so, most ppl just want to live in peace with one another. At the end of the day, religion is supposed to be a beautiful thing where ppl have trust and belief in their heart towards something greater. And taking it to a hateful negative place that keeps perpetuating itself really misses the point. Not to get to much into politics, but this whole conflict comes down to ppl hating one each other because they have different religions. Your religion does not define you. I respect ppl for who they are, not where they come from or who they pray to. So, since my Hijaby followers keep asking, here’s how you wear a wreath with your hijab. Love wins hate. Light wins darkness.
