What good does a battery do? If the grid goes down the cell towers will lose power after 24 hours when the battery backups lose power. In the event that happens to better have a transmitter and receiver radio with a manual power generation crank built into it and/or solar panels on it. If it has solar panels it’s going to have to have batteries to keep the charge so it will be heavier. If your phone is on and no internet and cellular all you have is access to your locally stored notes, songs, and worthless phone contacts.
