You even addressed (near the end of your video) that NOT EVERY MOVIE IS MADE INTO A NOVELIZATION and a post-film novelization does NOT yet exist (and that you only sell EXISTING books, not ones that haven’t yet been written!). Did we all not watch the same video?

Novelisations of comic book series exist but they arent hugely common and personally I think its a little weird to walk into a book store asking for the book version of a freaking superhero movie and NOT wanting the comic. Most of those movies are based off at least two comic runs.

As a former employee of a book company for many years… I too would have mentioned Comic Book since the movies are based on the comics. If you want a book based on the movie, that’s different verbiage and not the employees fault. We aren’t mind readers.

I feel this employees frustration in my bones 🥴🤐 I had a customer yell at me because I couldn’t figure out what they wanted. They didn’t know what the product was called, didn’t know what it was used for and couldn’t describe it for me. But I’m the “idiot” who doesn’t know how to do my job. I’m sorry, “WHAT”? The customer is not always right.

This is exactly what happens in the classroom. We have a lot of people using learned helplessness, expecting others to do the thinking for them. We teachers are trying to combat this, I promise.
