A farang killer balcony I see! When my house was built the stainless steel guys built the balcony rail at the optimum height for the average Thai person, unfortunately I'm taller and the handrail is too low making it perfect for falling over with my centre of gravity being way higher than the rail. I've used the Prom Ratchada on and off for years, it's location is fairly good with an MRT station within walking distance, a Big C across the street for cheap dining, stocking up booze and snacks for the room, there's a night market nearby and restaurants of varying price ranges!
