i’m a pharm tech also in nursing school… the biggest fits i’ve ever seen are from nurses. last week this lady comes 5 mins after closing as i’m walking out the door. she’s up front harassing the floor cashier and calling pharmacy staff stupid and lazy for “not letting her get her meds”. i tell her to go the the 24hr store or she’ll have to come back tomorrow. she proceeds to follow me out to my car yelling about how she’s a nurse and has connections and will get me reported. like wtf does that have to do with anything?! be an adult!

Absolutely wild switch up for all us techs here. But where I’m from, not even a small town, and have two towns connected. I told this father he needed to counsel for the sons med, pharmacist stopped me and said “look at the last name. He’s good” AURA. The mom is one of the most popular and respected Doctors in my area lmao

Nurses are THE WORST when it comes to the pharmacy. It’s always interesting how a pharmacist when to school for 6 years and are doctors of pharmacy but they can’t tell a nurse anything about a medication.

Not that related but one of the rudest patients I have is a fellow pharmacist and one of the nicest ones is an anesthesiologist 😭

I work for eye doctors and have for years. the amount of healthcare workers from other fields coming into my job sounding just like this is annoyingly ridiculous. like girl, then you should know that's not how shit works smh

And in my experiences as a tech, nurses are the worst. Not all of them just the healthcare workers that have thrown a fit at me just happen to be nurses.

When I used to work overnight, people would show up at 12:01 for their narcotics. Insurance companies do not adjudicate until 4 am. 😆 I used to ask “do you want to pay $300 right now or come back after 4 am” they came back. In the situation you are talking about I usually say “unfortunately we don’t have Oompa Loompas working at the pharmacy while we are closed, that’s why is not ready yet. I need to fill it the safe takes 10 minutes to open” 😂😂😂
