THIS is why it's not called a shooting foul everyone. NBL has adopted the new FIBA rules before the official October 1 change date due to the start date of our season. This explains why it isn't a shooting foul and Pinder was moving sideways, in the air at the time the ball was gathered, offense created contact and at the time Pinder left the ground, he wasn't in the act of shooting. So no defensive foul, but it almost satisfies the offensive foul criteria if anything since it was offense who created the contact on a player defensive player who hasnt yet had the chance to land whilst moving legally.
