For the first time as a halo fan I feel like this is it mcc is dying, the old servers are gone, the fans become worse and are killing the franchise with Microsoft, and now activision working on halo is this it is halo dead or is it gonna be dead i always had hope for this franchise I loved everything except 5 i grew up with this universe its just sad to see after thinking i would experience one of my favorite trilogy’s for the first time again

I feel really bad for everyone who lost their jobs. There people at Halo Studios that really have the best in mind for Halo and were cut out. On an unrelated note, I was nooooot happy with so much of the direction of the remake (especially Johnson sounding like Chester Cheeto) that I hope we never revisit these remakes again

1 we don’t know if halo 2 or 3 remakes are cancelled 2 to all the people saying halo studios is dead it’s not most of the media team is still there along with a few devs for bug fixes in current games the rest have been moved to activisions dedicated halo team or have been taken off of Xbox and Microsoft’s payroll entirely

Crazy take, activison isn’t that much worse than 343. I don’t think the new CEO of Microsoft would give them the halo ip without limitations. BO6 and Cold War campaigns were good so I’m not too worried story wise. Multiplayer on the other hand I do have concerns with cosmetics mostly
