I don’t know if you will ever see this, however, I couldn’t pass your post without writing this. Would you be open to the idea of finding a breastmilk bank for a local mom who donate breastmilk? If so, please look into getting Marcel some breast milk. I am 100% serious and I very strongly believe that he will be able to keep it down.

Please don’t take this in the wrong way. But he’s being foolish. I would have hoped that hospice would explain to him that it doesn’t mean you’re giving up. You can go back-and-forth in and out of hospice for a long time. His quality of life would be so much improved if he would just accept hospice.

Just a question, but is City of Hope realistically willing to see him in this condition? Do they not have to have a medical update from his oncologist or updated scans?

I’d really really highly recommend hospice it can help his pain and nausea get under control 🥺 then back off of it once he’s back on his feet

Hi I’m here to counteract the comment that says he’s being foolish. My husband passed from a different terminal illness and he fought so hard to be with me as long as he could. This is a man with a soul and a passion to live for his family. It is okay if he never wants to go on hospice. She/he will know when it’s time, if that ever comes. Please keep your opinions that are none of your business to yourselves

Does he have a stable swallow? If he does you could try a slightly thicker liquid as water can be very difficult to deal with at this stage. A sponge lollipop dipped in his favourite drink is also really good for keeping his mouth refreshed. Sending love from England ❤️
