@omonchateau: Et oui, nous sommes le premier jour de l’automne… Pas très réaliste au vu de la météo actuelle et des températures estivales encore bien présentes ! J’en profite quand même pour partager quelques clichés pris à l’automne dernier au château de Cheverny. Car s’il y a un château que j’adore visiter en cette saison, c’est bien celui-ci. ❤️ Tous les ans, chrysanthèmes, citrouilles et autres cucurbitacées investissent le parc et les intérieurs du château. Et les magnifiques arbres remarquables s’habillent de leurs couleurs flamboyantes. La visite vaut le détour ! 🍂 📍 @Château de Cheverny , Loir-et-Cher (41) #automne #autumn #castle

Okay girls… I have to say, I was NOT expecting the response I got from my last post- GRL HIKE 🎀 The messages, the DMs, the “when is the next one?!” because you missed this one… I hear you! So YES — we’re doing another one! Suicide Rock was such a fun hike. crisp weather, incredible views, lots of switchbacks, and overall a nice little challenge. honestly, these hikes have become so much more than just getting outside and having fun. Life is BUSY, and for me, being out on the trail is an opportunity to disconnect from the noise, slow down, take in what’s around me, practice gratitude, and just reflect. I know God can meet us anywhere. in our cars, in our homes, in the middle of our busiest days but there’s something about being outdoors that helps me quiet everything else and really make space for Him. And that’s what I hope these GRL HIKES become. Yes, we’re going to have fun, get outside, challenge ourselves and probably complain about our feet hurting 😂… but I want us to build genuine connections, encourage each other, share our faith, and remind each other that we don’t have to do hard things alone. Because when you’re tired, when the trail gets steep, when you’re being stretched … those are the moments you get to lean on the woman next to you. And hopefully, what we practice on the trail is something we carry back into our everyday lives. Whether it’s one girl hiking with me or 20, that’s the heart behind this.
