@realmeowl_wx: Extratropical Cyclone Dujuan🌀 (Dujuan is now an Extratropical Cyclone as it nears Alaska, USA!) || Song: MONTAGEM MEXILO ESTRAHNO - Super Slowed Information for Extratropical Cyclone Dujuan: (from JTWC) Dujuan (Japanese Typhoon Number 25) is located 785 km east of Misawa, Japan, and has tracked east-northeastward at 44 km/h (24 knots) over the past 6 hours. Minimum central pressure at 22/06:00 UTC is 975 hPa. Maximum significant wave height is 9.4 meters (31 feet). Satellite imagery shows Dujuan with a very broad, elongated, and fully exposed low-level circulation center. Convection is highly sheared to the northeast as the system further embeds itself under the upper level jet. Analysis shows a hostile environment characterized by cold (23–24°C) sea surface temperatures, extreme (60–65 knots) wind shear, extensive dry air entrainment. Dujuan is assessed to be currently undergoing extratropical transition (ETT), exhibiting moderate temperature advection induced by interaction with the jet. #extratropicalcyclone #fyp #xyzbca #weatherupdate #satellite
