SW uses kickstands for 738s & Max 8s. DL uses them on 739s. While AA doesn't use them at all. The other day we watched the chrome on the NLG get longer and longer and paused offload. When the FO came down to do his walk around, I asked him about the differences. He said he'd never heard of AA sitting a plane on its ass.

Because cargo goes on first towards the tail of the plane. All that weight tips the plane up and no easy way to lower it without damage
