Tbh this art style is gorgeous but the LOTM manhua was also something else. Not a single cgi asset was used for backgrounds and everything was hand-drawn. Unfortunately I think it got cancelled considering it’d take decades to finish :/

Stepmother marchen artstyle used to be much more classic and rather average looking. it's astonishing how much it improved since chapter one

the way she can distinguish between white men and has the ability to draw older people is what makes me be hyped for every project she'll be working on

i still honestly like the lotm manhua artstyle, makes it unique, unlike the 4951000000000000000th copy and paste manhwa artstyle we see all the time

i didnt know lotm has a manhua and i looked at the remake and ahhh... that type of artstyle is gonna take ages to finish lol As an artist who also dabbled into making a webcomic of my own, i studied orkas style and their process closely and they're really good at working with tones, atmosphere and lighting and focusing on which scenes to highlight and make more detailed, along with assets and light and shadows. i think lotm would actually progress much faster if they adapted in a style similar to orkas

i had the same thought while reading stepmother's marchen it would be perfect for LoTM world and tone. imagine Klein going through the underground cave of the Tudor empire with this art style
